For my Alternative Miss World project, I'm doing these things:
- Designs for a range of outfits, ranging from genres like Steampunk, Post-Apocalyptic, Cyberpunk to Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Kink.
- Create a full outfit for a final piece, basing it on a Post-Apcoalyptic survivor.
The pieces above are the pieces I'm gathering for the final piece.
So far, I have the helmet, brown cloak and respirator bought and on the way, and I'm going to soon purchase the guns, bandages for the hands, goggles, holsters and a UK flag.
I already have kneepads, jacket and an airsoft harness to use.
Some of the pieces, depending on how they look, may be altered in order to make the outfit look more dirty and worn.
The theme of the outfit is a Post-Apocalyptic survivor; a person who'se created a makeshift outfit of random things like a bike helmet, leather jacket, airsfoft armor pieces, goggles and respirators from industrial areas and also a UK flag draped on his shoulder as a sign he's clinging onto the last bit of patriotism in a harsh and savage future.
I imagine his name would be Miss Patriot or something along those lines, I'm going to research into what I could name the suit.
The outfit will be a final piece that I'll be wearing and having a photo shoot done with, along with a green screen background, so I can photoshop myself into post-apocalyptic settings with the clothing.
I hope to have the outfit and the designs complete by the end of the project, and as I'm getting a head start on obtaining the pieces I need, I have time to work on the design side of the project too.
